    Laptop has no line/mic input socket only USB


    My Lenovo Thinkpad, running Windows 10 does not have a line in or mic input socket.

    I have a line output signal I need to feed into it to use OBS Studio.

    How can I feed that signal in via a USB port. I have tried both a simple converter Sabrent USB External Stereo Sound Adapter and a     Behringer UCA202 U-Control but both a bit noisy.

    If its too noisy a better quality device is needed. A Focusrite (UK Company) Scarlett Solo would do nicely.
