    I can't connect my ps4 controller

It seems like i can no longer connect my ps4 controller to windows. If i power it on, it will flash a few times and turn off immediately. I have tried removing it from my pc, and pairing it again. I have tried reinstalling the bluetooth drivers from device manager. I have also made sure it's fulle recharged.

I would try connecting it via cable first then try via Bluetooth.
Ensure you’re pairing it correctly. Does the DS4 appear as a device when scanning for BT devices?
Have you downloaded DS4Windows? This too may help.

I have already tried cable. Yes, it appears, and i connect it correctly. I don't use ds4, i have been using this controller for years without any problems, and without the ds4 software..?

    Have you restarted the PC?
Usually removing the device & setting it up again usually works.

Is the cable a genuine Apple one?

Does the controller charge with that cable? Often third party cables will change the device but not sync or connect for play.
The cable needs to be Apple certified for that. Can you try a genuine cable?

Sadly not. I have been using my controller with this cable for some time without any problems. Yes, it charges the controller without problems. I have tested the bluetooth dongle and controller on my laptop as well, with the same result.
