Dell XPS 7590 integrated Webcam not working in windows.

I can't get the webcam to work On XPS 7590 under windows. It doesn't show up in device manager nor in any webcam software/skype, but it is working perfectly fine in Ubuntu live USB. It can't be a hardware issue. My windows version is 20H2 (Build 19042.985). Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

Go to Dell support, enter your Dell Service tag then go to Drivers & downloads to download & install your webcam driver.
While you are there, check for any other updated drivers & any new Bios.

    Yousaf,

Then Dell does not supply that computer with a webcam [in the au region].

I did notice, however, that you used a different region to your own in that weblink to Dell. Dell often sell different configurations in different regions.
    - Change the link to Pakistan then try again.
    - Remember to let it automatically find drivers for you [or click on the down arrow on that line then select This PC and enter your Dell Service tag in the dialog that appears].

This laptop was bought it australia. Webcam was working perfectly fine until 6 months ago in windows. ( in fact it is still but not in windows, last screenshot taken yesterday, was from ubuntu live USB where webcam was working absolutely fine without any custom driver required.)
I did try using my service tag and dell assistant but both failed to detect the webcam.

    Yousaf,

I'm sorry, I cannot think of anything else to suggest.

You did also try just: click on the down arrow on that line [next to Find drivers] then select This PC and enter your Dell Service tag in the dialog that appears so that you had to look through the list manually?
    - You'll have to click on Show all at the bottom of the list or many will be hidden from you.

    Best of luck,

    It is working now.

Camera was found under Universal Serial Bus devices > Integrated Webcam. I uninstalled the driver software with "Delete the driver software for this device checked. Scanned for the hardware changes and boom it returned under Camera>Integrated webcam. Now working fine

    Yousaf,

I am glad it's fixed. And thanks for explaining what had happened. I will have to remember to tell people to browse through the whole of Device manager's entries if they seem to have a missing device.

I have never understood what migrated means in the Device manager, <device>, Events tab. There are several examples in my own but I have never figured out any pattern that would explain what it means.

I also followed this guide How to troubleshoot an integrated (built-in) webcam in Windows 10? - Auslogics blog
I also uninstalled my kaspersky antivirus.
