New HDD Giving problems (doesnt holdthewall) :O

So i a new HDD seagate st2000dm008 BUT i seem to have having the current problems.
1. Installing windows a few time made a few loud clicks, sfc found file corruptions. Even though I installed windows 3 times already. changed sata cables and ports aswell.
2. So I download a 50>150mb file, while its downloading I start hearing the hdd play drums. I even installed windows on another drive and no problems what so ever
3. so doing random things in explorer... mini freezes (about 15 seconds) windows , not responding have happened 4 times over the 30 hours (not that I was watching the whole time) sometimes when maximixing a window or shutting down dialog.
4. ran dism, sfc, diskcheck, seatools (all of them say its healthy besides the SFC) Then I start looking at smart record, read error rate is high for only in use for like 30 hours.
5. gaming with hdd caching games (get mini freezes, lag loading)
6. So I switch back to a 5400rpm drive, which has the same settings etc... and to my suprise!!! no problems at all.
7. Looking at eventviewer shows alot of I/O errors.

Is this supposed to be happening??? should i get it replaced now? or do i have to wait for more problems

Hello @seph1k and welcome to TF ,
Windows 10 is very disk intensive and your Windows 10 experience will not be good with a HDD boot drive. I strongly suggest you get a SSD boot drive - 500 GB or larger would be my suggestion and use the HDD as secondary storage.

From the Crystal diak info image, something is terribly wrong.
The raw values are hexa numbers.
All them are incompatible. Temperature shows 8190657893216 ºC
Send it aback to the seller.

My drives that are functioning perfectly well have raw numbers like that .......... I don't think that's the issue. You want to post your screenshot of CDI?

As you can see at the top of the screenshot, temp values look "normal".

If you convert any raw hex numbers to decimal you will find they are the same shown on the top
- Power on hours - 13FA = 5114
- Power on count - DAE = 3502
- Temperature - 21 = 33ºC

CDI lets you change the format of RAW values - four different formats. Also I think different drives store data in different ways in the registers. OPs screenshot appears to be one of the decimal variants. Mine is hex and shows more than just the current temperate in the RAW value for the drive I'm currently looking at.

windows 10 should be lighter on resources, sure you get more disk activity because of system but i/o in general should be lower. i would buy a ssd but at the moment since i bought the hdd already, sort that out first

i think its because someone asked me specifically to change the value to hex10 or something.

Rather interesting that you don't experience issues with the 5400 RPM drive that occur with new 7200 RPM drive

they also dont occur on another new drive of the same model, and the 5400rpm drive also has like 3000 hours on it. well warranty says they wont replace it because its technically working, they say that they wont cover data loss but they insist for me to use it, looks like they trying to ride it and hope warranty ends before the drive dies. even though almost half the drive is on yellow in speed map on the new drive (shit thing is its the beginning and the end of the drive).

You could try running Crystal Disk Mark to see how performance reports compare between the various drives you have.
