USB Drive Failing on Safe Removal in Windows 10 Pro  

Windows 10 Pro x64 19042.928 Desktop--I7 10700 Custom Build, USB set for Better Peformance/Enable Write Caching for this Drive.

Seagate 8TB Drive in USB Enclosure, been hours since i wrote to it--and still won't eject, problem is nothing should be using this drive

I suppose i can change the option back to quick removal and restart system again, and see if its able to be removed then, and just deal with the slow writing to the SMR drive in that Enclosure if i have to

Take a look at the thread linked to below. I had a disk that could never be ejected, always showed that it was in use. In the thread some utilities were pointed out to me that resolved the issue for me,

External HD ALWAYS reports that it is in use when ejecting device

Ok will check those out and hopefully one of them successfully works, and then can finish system image backups on 2nd laptop machine in a short bit once i get it removed properly from Desktop lol.
