Is it possible to disable drivers installation by windows?

If you doing a registry tweak, make sure to also reboot windows for it to take effect.

The was a TF thread in which a member had reported incomplete block.

The only thing I haven't tried from this tutorials is using 3rd-party software to do this. But this is the last option for me.

This is with regards to Windows Update am I right? I don't need to disable updates at this moment. I need to disable automatic drivers install from windows after I do clean windows install when there is no drivers at all.

Correct. It's for controlling drivers via Windows Update.

So my conclusion is that there is no way to disable automatic driver installs by windows other than disabling Windows Update service.
