Does anyone happen to know why Macrium Reflect shows my Crucial MX500 as having a 16MB partition when none of my other drives do with the exception of my OS drive?
Conversely the partition in question doesn't appear Disk Management.

I probably don't have a solution but would ask if the drive in question was connected in the computer when Windows was installed? If so maybe it is a marker required by Wiindows, a test would be to unplug it then boot the computer just to see if it's required to be there. I did that once some time ago, removed the second or D: drive, couldn't boot and ended up with reinstalling with only the main drive connected.

As Navy recommend, delete the partition.
It depends on the history of the disk. If you initialize a new disk as GPT, an MSR partition is created. The same if you do a clean install of Windows. If you "convert" an MBR disk to GPT, the process may not create an MSR. If you restore an image, the MSR may be overwritten by another partition.
The "convert gpt" command in diskpart will create the partition.
