My Acer Aspire A315-56 laptop has no bluetooth and installing the drivers doesn't work. I mean the drivers listed on the Acer website.
Regarding what recent changes happened on my laptop, Windows Update gave me a firmware update yesterday by Insyde.

On Notebooks that offer Bluetooth [not all do] it is usually part of the Wireless/Wi-Fi adapter. Turning off or Disabling the Wireless also turns off the Bluetooth. Most Notebooks include an Fn plus another key that toggles the adapter On or Off.
Mine on a Dell Latitude 3340:
If wanting to have use of Bluetooth devices on a computer without it I use an IOGEAR USB dongle to get it, it's a rounded device better for not getting snagged in a case and somewhat smaller than others. It would even work on a Desktop.
Turning flight mode or wifi off and on again doesn't help.
What is the hardware ID of the faulty USB device?

I've fixed the problem now. It was a software issue. I uninstalled Acer Quick Access from my computer, and now the bluetooth works. Maybe reinstalling it would have also worked.
