    Printer Duplicated

I'm running Windows 10 Home 20H2, (but also before that update) on my new HP laptop and in the process of installing my Hp LaserJet P1606dn, my system recorded two copies of it's existence... and neither of them work consistently... It appears as if printmanagement.msc does no exist on my Home copy of Windows, so I cannot delete the drivers or anything else.... When I try to remove one or both of them on the control panel printers... they go away but, always come back...both of them.... It seems as if windows can't decide which one is 'real'.... any thoughts would be appreciated....billl

You should be able to delete the printers in Devices and Printers and/or in Device management. Most times when deleting just rebooting with reload the drivers but they may have to be uninstalled if that doesn't work.

I had to deal with a client a couple weeks ago that somehow had 2 for her All-in-One icons with one that she had taken the letters Fax of the name, couldn't figure out where the print jobs were going.

Thanks, Berton... clearly the driver just get reloaded, but in my 'Home' version, there appears to be no facility to manage my printer... printmanagement cannot be found.and I don't see a way to manually uninstall the print drivers??

You need to install the full software to manage. https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers.../model/4110409 You can also go to the embedded web server to make printer based settings. https://projects.gwdg.de/attachments...ro_P1606dn.pdf
