Windows update is offering many driver updates. Is it safe to allow them to install? In past years on Win 7 I was told no. If not, does Asus have an update tool to find and install these?
I know I can use the Asus website, but I would need to compare version numbers and just download only what is new. I would think there is an easier way.
Hi me personally do not update any drivers to me if not broke don’t fix it.
Most end users are able to use Windows without problems that require micro management.
These are steps that you can perform:
1) make free backup images
2) make restore points
3) export drivers
With drivers and updates.... the "if it ain't broke" mantra is why many wind up with PC issues

Anyway, I manually manage my drivers where necessary - GPU, motherboards, hardware drivers, and let Windows handle others. That me.
At the end, yes, you should update drivers. Good luck.
Just go here... choose Windows 10 64 bit, and all the newest drivers are at the top.
Pretty much the main ones you need to keep up to date are the Chipset and SATA drivers.
So you probably only need two drivers.
For the rest... don't worry about them unless you have a problem with something.

As for the BIOS... I usually wait till I'm like 3-5 BIOSs out of date and then flash the BIOS.
In your case, if your BIOS is older than version 1401, it's probably time to flash the BIOS.
