    CD Writer not showing up


    Hi there
    My cd rom drive shows up intermittently, usually not at all.
    I have searched on this forum and tried various fixes.
    I do not have upper or lower things in the registry, (sorry for the bad description)
    I've tried the tweakingwindows.com fix and no luck.
    As I said, it sometimes (rarely) shows up but usually not.
    I am trying to burn a cd using DBpoweramp

    Reseat the CD burner drive power and data connections (data cable at the drive and motherboard). Reseat - with PC powered off, Open the case and unplug then plug cable(s) back on, making sure its fully seated.
