    USB Key Drives Zapped !!!

I am trying to rebuild a Bee Link U55 computer with Win 10, and have been booting it from a USB key with WinPE.

This has been used several times without problems.

All of a sudden the computer stopped booting from WinPE.

I checked the WinPE key in other computers, and they don't see the USB keys.

Can the computer damage both USB keys or is it a coincidence?

    Thanks for reading.

It is of no real benefit to start you thread here
    Bee Link U55
and then when you receive a reply and post
    diskpart - list disk result
to not continue with that thread, where it was requested that you post diskpart - list disk - select the Gpt disk and then list partitions
You have not posted the list partitions
Boot from the installation drive and launch a CMD window (Shift+F10) and type:
    diskpart
list disk (see if you have a * on the GPT column and take note the drive number)
select disk n (replace n with the drive number found above)
    List part
May I suggest that you kindly return to the other thread and reply to the request to list partitions.

The problem on this thread - regarding the WinPE usb, as it is not recognised on other computers and has ceased to boot this computer - is probably the USB pen itself .

Try another USB flash pen and ensure the WinPE you establish is an appropriate version
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...-i-download-it

or of course where ever you made it from in the first place.
    Or
Download Sergei Strelec's WinPE - MajorGeeks

OR as per the Microsoft link above and see this
Create a WinPE USB or ISO
    from this site`s tutorials.

I am sure, your interests are best served by continuing with your other thread on this U55 computer.

You can boot the USB Win 10 installation (WinPE) in two ways:
    - As Legacy. The partition can be a Fat32 or NTFS and the partition must be active.
    - As UEFI. The partition must be a Fat32.

Windows can be installed in two ways: Legacy-MBR or UEFI-GPT
To install as Legacy-MBR you must boot the installation drive as Legacy
To install as UEFI-GPT you must boot the installation drive as UEFI.

Your computer is UEFI-GPT so you must boot the installation drive as UEFI.

If you have a Win 10 installation iso:

    diskpart
list disk (it will list all drives. Identify the USB drive number)
select disk n (replace n by the USB drive number obtained with list disk)
    clean
    convert mbr
    create part primary
    select part 1
    format fs=fat32 quick
    assign
    active
    exit (to exit diskpart)

Mount the iso file and copy ALL files and folders to the root of the USB drive.
It will boot as Legacy or as UEFI.
