Looking for a gadget or gizmo that will allow my USB wired old skool keyboard and/or mouse communicate with a Surface Go 2. It has a usb-c jack.. It has wi-fi and bluetooth. Maybe a std usb hub that uses a usb-c plug that will plug into the computer? -thank you

I use several Bluetooth mice with my Notebooks whenever possible, haven't tried a Bluetooth keyboard yet but do have one left over from a Vizio CA24 All-in-One I've been toying with using. The main thing I like with BT is it doesn't require a USB port if the adapter is built-in, many Notebooks have it as part of the Wireless/Wi-Fi adapter. There are keyboard/mouse kits that use a single USB Wireless dongle. Also there are USB dongles for the Bluetooth, I like the IOGEAR rounded model, doesn't snag on anything.
a little research shows me the hub idea is out. apparently the user is utilizing the usb-c jack for hook-up to a monitor and I do not think a hub permits this monitor to 'pass-thru'. so, looks like it will be a gizmo/gadget bluetooth/wi-fi thingamabob.
I came across this and request a kind soul to review the text (I am not understanding some stuff) and let me know if this will do what I need (per the op). thnx in advance ... :
