Could anyone write a script that would force automatic download and installation of drivers via Windows update?
I care that you do not have to click Windows Update in the GUI, only that after calling the script it will download if there are any missing
Unlikely. Why would you feel you need such a thing?
Perhaps you could explain the underlying problem.
Having to pay attention to updating drivers is usually only necessary if there's some problem.
You mention missing drivers- that might occur with old or incompatible hardware, for example. The very fact that a driver is missing suggests it is not available via Windows Update anyway.
Please note members here typically do not recommend the routine use of driver updater tools, for example. One case where one might be of use is exactly the one you cite- a missing driver.
I need a script to force download and install drivers because
I run my own computer service and because there are a lot of computers / system reinstallations, I decided to make a script that will reduce the need to interfere with the Windows installation
system installs with iso with autounattend file (which limits clicking to disk selection)
Then the script wants to
- downloaded & drivers from Windows Update
- Installed the base software online (Already done)
- Configure appearance elements (done)
- Win10 bloatware removal (done)
and much more
