I unmarked Quick Format and it looks as nothing is happening, although I am using a low performance PC...

OK, formatting in progress... There was also an option "Restore the unit's standard values". Is that an issue here?
Sorry, where did you see this?

Is the external drive activity LED on or flashing to know it's doing something?

Yes, Disk 1 is the Seagate as it is 3 TB. Attaching a new screen dump.

Please share that as an image file like you did before. .docx is a security risk for me.

Anyway, go to Disk Management and right click and see if you can assign Disk 1 a drive letter please.

Right now the disk is under formatting on another PC.
I did not change the file format... Disk 1 is not on the list now.

Okay, you can wait for the formatting to finish then.

So for whatever odd reason, when you plugged in the external drive it was not automatically getting assigned a drive letter.

That's what I think happened when the PC was forced shut down if the three external disks were connected at the time. If the OP could try another external disk that was connected and assign a letter to it.

Sure, they George can certainly try that as a test while waiting for the format to finish - what do you think - George? Connect a different drive and see if you can assign it a drive letter in Disk Management and see if it then shows up in File Explorer.
