LaCie is the disk that had the letter G: but not connected to the PC. I am also confused about the two 0 partitions in the top...
the two "0" partitions are not 0 partitions. They are the Disk 0 partitions with no labels (names). By the size, I'd say they are recovery partitions.

    Hello Tore,
You are probably so for the morning.
From an administrator powershell prompt run the following command:
    Code:
    diskpart
    followed by
    list vol
    followed by
    exit
take a screenshot of the output and paste it please. Don't type the "followed by", that's just seperating the three command I would like you to run. The "exit" command is to leave diskpart and go back to powershell prompt.
Please translate as much as you can for us. Take care until tomorrow

Had to Google LaCie. It's the manufacturer of the drive, it seems.

Good morning Steve. Thank you for the posts sent after I closed yesterday.

The problem was solved after following the last guide you sent me yesterday. On page 24 there are screen shots showing the Disk management and Crystal Diskinfo you asked for.

So today there is no G: in the Explorer and it is also gone from the Frequently used folder after a guide from Tomcat.

Furthermore, I made a DVD Maricum Resque media just so that I have one until I get the USB issue sorted out. The Swedish computer magazine "PC-Tidningen" did a MR presentation early 2017. I looked up the article to follow the guide lines as how to make the media. But MR must have change the user interface since then as the old guide lines were a little different compare to what showed during the process. But it ended up successfully.

Do you need a new screen shot or will the ones I sent yesterday be okay?

    Good day Tore,
If I'm understanding correctly that everything is now resolved, I don't think I need screenshots.

Yes, I've had the same experience where MR tutorials were made with older versions and looked different - fortunately I was able to still follow the gist of the tutorial as you were.

I didn't even think about the DVD option, so great that you were able to use it.

The Macrium Rescue Environment. If you lose your Windows operating… | by Macrium Software | Macrium Software I have not made a DVD in such a long time. . MR frequently updates their software, so I remake my Rescue USB when they update MR.

Yes, Steve, and I am deeply grateful for all help and support you have given me which solved the problems with my PC. I also want to say thank you to all other members who took the time to read the posts and to offer help. Without Ten Forums I would never have resolved the problems on my own. THANK YOU ALL!

Now that these problems are gone I also have some other issues that I would like to discuss. One is e-mail (Outlook or Thunderbird or other alternatives) which will be a new thread as you said earlier and I have a couple of computer specific issues I also would like to get into. Guess that will be new threads as well.
