Good morning/afternoon, Steve. Hope you are well. I am having a rather bad day today, feeling "out of my shoes"... I also tried to make a backup with Paragon which I mentioned I would do while reading and learning more about MR. However, the Paragon backup failed after 2½ hrs run and I don't have a clue why. Perhaps something wrong with the Seagate... because the blue diod was blinking like a car indicator during the whole process while CPU diod had a normal blinking pattern... Close to 144 GB was on the disk after the run but I could not open the files. I might as well format the disk again, look at Kari's video again and try with MR.

Enabled or disabled Controlled folder access during backup run? It was disabled with Paragon.
Hello Tore,
I'm well and I hope you feel better soon.
I would suggest you use Crystal Disk Info to check drive health of the external SSD as well as your internal drives. If it's shows green and says Good - that's all that matters - don't worry about the numbers in CDI table unless the drive health is reported not green/not good.
You can also run "chkdsk C:" from a powershell prompt to check your boot drive. I would also do the same for the external Seagate USB drive (change the C: to the drive letter for the Seagate.
Let me know if you need further help on doing the above suggestion. Don't wear yourself out since you are not feeling well. Take care then
CrystalDiskInfo – Crystal Dew World Tore, I've been using CDI for many years and it has my full trust, but you already know to virus scan anything you download anyway.
Togel, unless you had it enabled prior to the Paragon, leave it disabled, which is the default. If Paragon disabled it to do a backup and you had an abort, it may not have re-enabled it. I have not used Paragon, Macrium is my backup solution.- - - Updated - - -

Thanks, Steve, I guess my brains are soon spinning like a disk drive after so many days of work with the PC. I will run the check disk and let you know the outcome.
