Steve, it looks as I have been locked out from the forum... My last reply just disappeared...
Then how did you reply to tell me this? Did you post a strange link in that other post or something? Reply to this post ....... probably it will work fine.

No, sorry Steve, just dead meat behind the controls...
I am using Opera as it as a free VPN and I block ads on the web sites I frequently use. But I get a lot of signals to allow ads as it is necessary for the company to get the revenue from ads...

Thank you, Steve, and everybody else who have been a part of this long process of resolving the disappeared USB ports. Without your help I would have to make file back-ups the hard way, either on DVDs, flash memories or connecting two PC together with an Ethernet cable and transfer the files that way over to the portable USB disk. Did this make sense... I therefore want to buy you all a digital paint of the best beer money can buy. To your future success and good health!!!

If you don't already use an ad-blocking plugin for your web browser, I suggest you do that immediately. What browser do you use? I highly recommend uBlock Origin for Chrome and Firefox. I use Firefox 99% these days - been using it for years.

Thanks for sharing your story, young man
