I can't assign drive letters and can't find dskmgmnt.exe on Windows 10
Hello everyone, I have a bunch of old WD portable hard drives that I recently pulled out of storage, and I have been trying to get them to work. I at first thought they were all dead, because even though they started vibrating and sounded like they were on and the lights on them came on, I couldnt find them in my "This PC" folder. I did a little bit of research and discovered thst the drives are seemingly fine - they just aren't showing up because my laptop did not automatically assign them any drive letters. I read about how to assign them drive letters in Disk Management, but something strange happened; I couldn't find it on my laptop, which is running WIndows 10. I did find something called Computer Managemet, opened it, and went into Device Manager, and from what I read, right-clicking on the hard drive would allow me to assign a drive letter. So I right-clicked, but the menu doesn't include that option. Here's a screenshot:
Please lete me know if I need to include any more information, because this problem is annoying me to no end. Thanks in advance to all who can help.
