    It is unclear what was < 1 MB.
    Typically the smallest partition created during a Windows installation is 15 MB.

    Don't actually make a backup...just click the option shown in the RED box then post a screen shot of that.


    Macrium says the boot partition is OSDisk C:

    956 KB is negligible compared to 1863 GB. You may simply remove the drive letter.
    Right-click on the Start button --> Windows PowerShell (Admin).
    Run the following commands to remove E.

    DiskPart
    Select Volume E
    Remove Letter=E

    (1) I downloaded and ran GetDataBack Pro to examine the E: +F: external HDD. I will have to study more to understand it. However, I found the following statement in the help system.
    Code:
     “If there are no entries at all, or entries are missing, there are four possible reasons.
<snip>
3 The drive is hardware encrypted, as it is the case with some western Digital USB drives.  Encryption and decryption are handled by the USB controller of the drives enclosure. IF this is the case, you must use the drive with its original USB enclosure."
    Unless someone knows why not, I will check with WD to determine it that applies to my WDC WD20EFRX-68EUZNO, 82.00A82 <1.82 TB> hard drive before I delete it. The enclosure of the SSD is a 3.5in USB 3.0 External IDE / SATA III Universal Hard Drive Enclosure.
    (2) I was able to rename E:\ to M:\ and then G:\ to E:\, so now my Access database is running, as is necessary, on on E:\ -- which was the my original goal.
