The beginning of all knowledge is the statement, "I don't know". The scientific method is to propose an idea, test that idea, re-test that idea to see if the results can be replicated, then move on to another idea. You may be on to something, but we don't know what that something is.
As far as I know, Dell gets their BIOS from American Megatrends (I could be wrong), then they tinker with it. The Support Assist team does their thing. Microsoft is constantly changing Windows. How much these coders talk to each other is a mystery.
If the folks at NASA can do their things with so much precision, someone can find the solution to any problem. They just need to know where to look.
