I just tried disabling the ‘Integrated Camera’ in device manager, as recommended by hsehestedt. That worked, too. I could enable and disable without unplugging the webcam’s USB connect. I also tried disabling the audio device, the ‘AV to USB2.0 device’. But it said I had to reboot my computer for this to happen. Looks like both solution work out, with minor glitches.
