    Is it possible to shrink partition from HDD dock?


    I have a 1TB HDD dock that I'm using to connect an HDD
    This HDD already has Windows 10 installed on
    I'm trying to shrink the main large NTFS partition to get a separate 300GB partition (I want to store some files there), but I get the following error:

    Is there a way to shrink it?

    As it's telling you it has corruption scan with chosen as instructed then shrink

    If it's an HDD/Hard Disk Drive might also consider defragging it after checking for errors, get the parts of a file in contiguous areas with other parts of the file/s.

I am trying to shrink my system partition but Disk Manager only offers a tiny reduction in size due to "unmovable files". I have already disabled swap, hibernate and system protection and rebooted. What else should I do?
