    "optional update" stuck, keyboard

I've had an "optional" update for:

Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P. - Keyboard - Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard for HP Hotkey Support

for a while now and can't seem to get it to go away. I've uninstalled both the HID keyboard and PS2 keyboard which temporarily made it go away until the HID reinstalled. I'm working on a laptop and do not use an external keyboard. Any idea how to get this to install and or go away?

    I'm on build 20H2

    You might try
Hide or Show Windows Updates in Windows 10

In Windows 10, your PC or device is always kept up to date with the latest features and fixes. Updates are installed automatically, with no need to select which updates are needed or not needed. In rare cases, a specific driver or update might temporarily cause issues with your device, and in this case you will need a way to prevent the problematic driver or update from reinstalling automatically the next time Windows Updates are installed.

In rare cases, a driver or update might cause issues with your PC. To prevent the driver or update from being reinstalled automatically, a Show or hide updates troubleshooter from Microsoft is available that provides a user interface for hiding and showing Windows Updates and drivers for Windows 10.
