Corrupted Bios & New Motherboard ?

    Hi to All,

I need some help pertaining to the bios on my Gigabyte MB GA-Z77-D3H (ver 1.0 ), I was playing around and now I can't get into my bios or boot up normally. I have tried everything I know or learned from this forum.. The pc boots searching for the bios and after 30/45 seconds is reboot it self and start the process again. It does this for some minutes and then it turn itself off.

Here is a shot of the bios once it reads its every 5 try's.

If my MB is fried, can someone tell please which MB can I buy to be able to use my old
Intel Core i7 -3770 cpu 3.40GHz and rams.
    OS:
Win 10 Pro 64 20H2, last time I used it was 2 days ago.

    Thank you

Those mother boards have duel bios and if the bios was fault it should switch to the backup. You need to read your manual or contact the makers you could check Youtube see if they have a work around.
Most of their mb have a way to update bios even if it wont boot via usb.

Its specific to your mb so contacting them direct is best bet but it should be recoverable. You need to make sure it bios as it can be memory chip faulty will do it as well

Have you tried clearing the CMOS (also known as resetting the real time clock)?

Your motherboard has a dual BIOS, but I see no indication of a manual switch to select the backup. It is supposed to be automatically invoked if the active BIOS is corrupted.

A few years ago, I was in a similar situation. The backup BIOS never was activated, and I ended up having to return the board. I hope that your luck is better.

When you discover you have a problem, all you need to do is shut the system down and then boot up again. The GIGABYTE DualBIOS™ does the rest.

    DualBIOS™ Benefits :
    1. Repair failure BIOS instantly
    2. Fully automated without user intervention
    3. Reduce service time

I have a similar board. As posted above the backup BIOS should be used on the next restart. I would also replace the CMOS battery since a voltage much below 2.8V causes my PC to fail to boot. Load the BIOS defaults after doing this. You might need to reflash the BIOS to the latest version if the backup BIOS is an older version. Ask Gigabyte support hoe to flash the main and backup BIOS.

Yes, I have done all of that according to the manual without success. I also replace the battery with a new one.. Nothing still. thanks

My GIGABYTE has DualBIOS, but my manual says nothing about it.

There is no need to ask them. Years ago, I used Q-Flash with ease. For details, see: Q-Flash
