    Missing Touchpad Settings

My touchpad settings aren't present except for Taps setting. I don't know why I don't have them, other Windows 10 laptop at my home has them all. My windows version number is here:

This is how the screen looks like: Missing Touchpad Settings-screenshot-2021-01-04-205746.png
And this is how it should look with all settings:

My touchpad is working even though scrolling and zooming doesn't work for whatever reason, the PC is MSI-GS60 6QE and there is look of ELAN TouchPad driver screen:

I don't know if it is alright when those settings are missing, so that's why I ask as I would like to mess with them but unfortunately I can't.

Take a look at the first thing that is displayed on the second image you provided:

"This PC has a precision touchpad".

Since your other system uses an Elan touchpad, the functionality of that touchpad and the controls for it are determined by the Elan drivers. All of the controls that you see present within Windows apply only to "precision touchpads" which use the native Windows supplied precision touchpad drivers.

One addition to my post above, and this is purely a personal preference:

When looking for a new laptop, which I happen to be doing now, I won't even consider a system that does not have a Precision Touchpad. IMHO, those precision touchpads make a world of difference. I know that I'm not alone in that opinion. Do a quick search on the Internet and you will find a lot of people who share that opinion.

The newer Elan/Synaptics driver seems to break the touchpad settings so that you cannot turn the touchpad on/off or use various scroll options. There is a new Touchpad entry under Settings>Devices but there’s no settings as shown in your first screenshot.Try installing the Microsoft precision touchpad driver:How to install Precision Touchpad Drivers on Windows 10 This will add extra touchpad options under Settings>Devices>Touchpad.

You could also check whether you have Advanced option enabled for Touchpad in BIOS.

Won't make a difference. Only Precision Touchpads are fully controlled via Windows settings. That's a fact. That's why some people, me included, will now only purchase a laptop that has a Precision Touchpad.
