Thanks all... since then it has written about 60gb since last Sunday, so almost a week so it must be down to the 200GB+ clone, plus a image restore I did... which if the same or similar size would make sense, about 60GB or so per week.. drive been in 2 weeks now...

Will check again in a few weeks :)

Relax, it takes a lot more than that to wear out an SSD. We're talking hundreds of TB written, or even PB.....

Today, that story draws to a close with the final chapter in the SSD Endurance Experiment. The last two survivors met their doom on the road to 2.5PB, joining four fallen comrades who expired earlier. It’s time to honor the dead and reflect on what we’ve learned from all the carnage.

I thought we covered that a couple of days ago. I'd be more concerned about electricity prices going up

In 2020 - I would be concerned about literally thousands of things more than how much I'm writing to my SSDs.

    I had the same thought.

Thank goodness we have Macrium Reflect, etc.
