Disk management in disarray
Hi, I checked disk management today as I am thinking of moving my OS back onto my NVMe drive, and I noticed that some of my drives are displayed in the wrong place. Attached is a screenshot of my Disk management showing all my drives
Disk 0:The C drive is fine.
Disk 1: should be Barracuda HDD (F) 2TB
Disk 2: should be Toshiba SSD 480 (G) 480GB
Disk 3: should be Samsung NVMe 970 (H) 1TB
Disk 4: is correct
When I select the properties of disk 0,1,2,3 buttons it shows the correct drive which matches the volume.
Also when I select properties by clicking on the Toshiba and the Samsung NVMe they also show the correct volumes.
But the Barracuda shows the same volume as the Toshiba ie 447.13 with only 35.3 GB used; the used volume looks correct but the total should be 1863.
I would like to know if I can get the Disk orders correct and how, and if I can get the right volume displaying for my HDD, if these things are possible. Or do I not need to worry?
This happened after I tried to do an 'in-place upgrade' which did not go according to plan, hence I plugged my old Samsung SSD back in (which I cloned my win 10 from) as I could not boot from my NVMe after the upgrade.
