    Going under the assumption that this is the only HD in the system. If not, please say so and i'll provide other instructions.

    Just a note, I use a drive dock for SATA, it has a clone function but it will not work if connected to a computer, does a byte for byte of the whole drive. If the Destination drive is larger there will be free space that can be handled later in the OS. If the Source drive has issues with files it won't clone, have to fix it first with chkdsk, which probably should be done now and then anyway.

    Just finished backing up with Macrium. Thank you for your help! Now I hope my 20+ year old external drives I backed up to don't die.
