    Yes that is how it is done. Even better results back on the MS SATA driver. Also found a review on Samsung Rapid Mode:

    Keep in mind that if you want the utmost stability you may need to use Standard MS AHCI drivers. They are usually improving over time and can be even newer that Intel's specially for older chipsets. Also, Intel AHCI may have subtle issues, hard to diagonose sometimes (like aforementioned stuttering issues, multitasking being poorer and things like that).
