Just for the sake of it from your posts , there maybe be a problem elsewhere.
Open an elevated command prompt and run "sfc /scannow" (without quotes)
this will take a little time but it should fix some system file errors.
If there are errors you may have to run it again.
Just trying to cover all bases.
Open Elevated Command Prompt in Windows 10
FYI - I ran sfc /scannow and there were "no integrity violations".
What is the DHCP server in your Network ?
How has the TV been setup, WiFi Direct or Networked ?
DHCP is set to automatic but I don't understand what you mean by "What is the DHCP server in your Network".
During TV setup I selected my 5 GHz Wi-Fi and entered the password so the TV is communicating through my router.
I hope this answers your questions.
Just to make the OP feel better, but no solution, I have the same issue with a desktop (ethernet) and a laptop (wifi) but instead of multiple TVs, I get multiple "Archer VR-900" which is my modem. Yesterday I cleared over 100 entries from my computers, one at a time. I have in the past had 2 or 3 "[TV] Samsung 50" but not great numbers like the modem.
I think my post #12 solved the problem so I hope this helps anyone else with the same issue - skcusime take note.
I have had no more "43PUS8555/12" MM device icons appearing since I unticked the "Turn on automatic setup of network-connected devices" box.
I may even turn off Network discovery altogether since my printer is not networked and I can't see why I need it to be on.
I'll call this "Solved" and thank you to all contributors for your help.

My understanding is that the Network should have 1 DHCP server. The problem can be that almost every device in the Network can be a DHCP server. Thus multiple DHCP servers will cause problems.
I have Modem/Router, Laptop, PC, 2 x TV, PVR, NAS box, Printer, all of which can be DHCP servers. Logic to me says the one DHCP server should be the Modem/Router as it is central to all those devices.
The two TVs are wireless connected to the Router the Wireless On/Off being used as a switch to use only when required.
I get no hidden instances at all, in the view that you show. I also have ticked "Turn on automatic setup of network-connected devices".
They get listed in Windows 10 Settings > Devices, Connected/Not connected, only once maybe twice if a Media server is configured on the device.
Helmut - thanks for your input but it is beyond my understanding. I know what a 'Network' is but how communications are carried out in the network is too technical for me.
I just know that since I unticked that box there have been no more devices appearing.
