HP Envy 4500 All in One printer does not print in windows 10 with usb.

    Hello,
after the latest Windows 10 updates, the printer in question no longer prints documents from the pc, but prints the test page internal and also in windows 7 it works regularly and using Print Doctor does not detect errors.
The following error appears in the Windows 10 event viewer error: PrintService id 372

"Cannot print the document Print document owned by ***** on the HP ENVY 4500 series printer.
Try printing the document again or restart the print spooler.
Data type: RAW. Size of the spool file in bytes: *****. Number of bytes printed: *****

Total number of pages in the document: 2. Number of pages printed: 0.
Win32 error code returned by the print processor: *********.
    Unspecified error. "
    Thanks
I uninstalled and reinstalled the drive, but it doesn't change.
The PC is connected to the network via ethernet.

I tried installing as described here, but to no avail.

That issue is typical of problems with an update or two in Versions 1903 and 1909, one list I saw mentioned Brother, Canon, Panasonic and Ricoh printers but I had to deal with an HP, Upgrading to Version 2004 fixed the HP. One thing I've seen with printers installation is some that mention only USB 2, using a USB 3 port was problematic, one would only print half a page then error out with "lost communication", changing to USB 2 port cleared that issue.

In addition to reinstalling the printer software [remove old first] I'd go to Device Manager and uninstall the USB [but not delete the software] then reboot and let Windows find the USB again, reload the drivers.

Are the USBs to be uninstalled highlighted in red?

I'd remove the HP but can't say about the other. Don't see the word eXtensible in an entry which signifies USB 3. This is mine but I've added additional ports.

I partially solved it following this order:
I restored a previous Windows 10 image where it worked (build 19041.572).
After checking that everything was ok, I uninstalled the printer, had the updates to version 20H2 build 630 redo and reset the printer started working again, although it still has a small problem that doesn't show up in Windows 7.
The problem would be this: if a cartridge is absent it does not print !!!
Let's wait if they update Windows 10 drivers .....
    Hi
