SSD keeps buzzing

Ran a virus scan. No viruses found. Already took the laptop apart and dusted it using a pressured air can. Memory was at 85%. Was able to push it down to 70%. CPU is at 38-20%. Running a Windows 10 Lenovo laptop. No idea why the hard drive keeps buzzing. I could take a video of it. It would be normal for a while, then after a few minutes, the hard drive would buzz. Then repeat.

"If the system BIOS has a C-States option, disabling this option should help eliminate the noise." Is the C-States option an option that I should have enabled?

Turned out to be the GPU fan.

When I feel my laptop, the vibration comes from where the hard drive is located. The fan is located at the opposite side of the laptop. I can tell when the fan turns on....it makes a whirling noise when it starts blowing air.

Idle power consumption will go up if C-States option is disabled from what I understand. If you have the option, try toggling it and see how it affects the noise you're hearing.

It's weird because I started noticing a pattern. My SSD will buzz for a several minutes then slow down, then my fan will blow air really hard for several minutes, then slow down. Then my SSD will buzz again. It only goes silent sometimes when the laptop goes idle and I'm not doing anything.

The thread title calls it an SSD.
Your first post calls it a hard drive.
When asked which is it, you replied SSD.

But you say that the sound comes from where the hard drive is located.

Since laptops generally do not have BOTH a hard drive and an SSD, this has become confusing.
Hard drives are mechanical devices, so noise is expected. SSDs have no mechanical parts.

So, which is it? Hard drive/HDD or SSD?

Like I already replied, it's normal - I've heard it on some laptops and not on others. You could open up the laptop for a closer look/confirmation of the noise source - be very careful.
