    DDR3 RAM for a Lenovo ThinkCentre M93P

I can upgrade the DDR3 RAM on a refurbished Lenovo ThinkCentre M93P computer I have ordered to 16 gig’s. I checked the prices and it is cheap. This rig does not look to demanding on RAM what brand would you suggest. It has installed 8GB PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3.

I would look on Crucial's site and use their System Advisor, or download and run their System Scanner when you get the Lenovo -

Ditto, never had a problem with them.

Correction, did once with modules for a Dell Dimension 2350, found it used different modules from the Dell Dimension 2300 Series. Cross-shipping fixed the issue within 3 days.

    Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | lenovo | thinkcentre | ThinkCentre M93p Tiny | Crucial.com

    a 16GB (2 X 8GB) is $87US.

You can save a bit with a different make, like Laptop Memory | Newegg.com, but Crucial guarantees compatibility.

I just get whatever PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 is goingly cheaply for my machines. Always works fine. 2x8gb cost £30 last time I got some a few months ago.

I checked at Crucial and a 8X2 set was $42.99 USD. I’ll have this system today. It interesting I never paid any attention to these “micro” systems in the past than I got a Raspberry Pi 4B. It was a real education about just how powerful these little computers are.

    I checked the link I provided again. $42.99 appears to get you 2 X 4GB, not 2 X 8. Am I mistaken?

    That is 8gb total. 2x4.

Is that enough? It could be, we don't know what you are planning on doing.
