There's got to be an alternative to this. If there is no other option, then why have a wireless keyboard in the first place? As I stated, this keyboard worked fine, no lag, prior to 2004. It started when I updated. Coincidence? I think not.

Doesn't sound like coincidence to me either.

You could make a full backup of your 20H2 Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect then install 2004 again for testing. You can then restore back to 20H2 if needed.

Do you still have the option to roll back to 2004 from Windows?

Do you have a different computer to test your keyboard with? Preferably not 20H2.

I'm running two Wireless keyboards and have none of the issues the OP is complaining about. My main system is using the Logitech Craft (wireless) with the Options software and all is good. This is under Windows 10 Prox64, 20H2.

My backup system is using a Logitech Wave (wireless) keyboard using the Logitech Setpoint software under Windows 10 Education, 2004 is also running without issue.

Suggest the OP remove/reinstall either the Options or Setpoint (whichever is applicable) software and go from there.

And the reason you wouldn't want to install the wireless dongle in the back of the PC's USB ports is it creates a signal blocking situation. Thus the reason for the "USB extender cable, then position it close to and in line-of-sight of the keyboard". Yeah, nothing new there. In fact that fix goes back some years where it was pushed by Logitech.

That said, my dongle is connected via USB cable extension and sits on my desk within line of site of both keyboard and mouse. In fact the extension cable comes with the keyboards.

[*]Updating the keyboard/dongle's drivers (there are no drivers on Logitechs's site, oddly) and firmware. Nope.
The keyboard does come with a software package that you should be using, especially the unifying software.....

Product page - Wireless Keyboard K270 Full-size, Unifying wireless - read "Connect with ease"

You're on 20H2 according to your first post, so roll back to 2004 (20H1) and see if it goes away.

Someone mentioned this to me, so to be clear, I don't see steve108's posts.

They are on the ignore list.

Rolling back to 2004 is no longer an option. As I mentioned before, it was working great before I updated to 2004, then more recently to 20H2. The issue started with 2004, shortly before updating to 20H2. Even Steve agreed this problem doesn't sound like a coincidence.

First, you don't respond to a post and state that "OP is complaining." Comes off as rude. Not very becoming of a Guru.
Second, the keyboard and mouse did not come with any installer/software disc. Unless you're using an old keyboard/mouse, they are plug-and-play and most times don't have such a thing included. And installing anything from Logitech's site did nothing for this issue. In fact, the Unifying software is outdated. They are now pushing people to install Setpoint. I'm not even sure what it was you were trying to convey with that link.
Third, I've stated that having an extension cable just defeats the purpose of a wireless solution (and I'm trying to avoid having more wires on my desk, as well as having to spend any money if possible) and this problem is only intermittent, and affects every wireless keyboard I've used (even a non-Logitech one). From what's been going on, it sounds more like a software issue than a hardware one. Please read the thread again.

Instead of getting bent out of shape over a word you could actually "read" the post. You might find "complaining" was just a figurative word to say were having an issue.

The problem is too many are too ready to fight than actually take note of what was said. Sorry, I couldn't covey my emotional state of mind over the internet when I wrote the post

    Have a good day.
