    Printers Installed but Won't Print

I've got a PC running Windows 10 that won't print no matter what printer is connected. The printer is shown in Devices and Printers without any errors but when I try to print anything I get the message saying the job has been sent to the printer but apart from the printer software showing the job for about a second before going back to zero, nothing else happens.
So far I have tried the following.
Tried a different printer. Changed the USB cable. Ran Chkdsk. Ran SFC. Updated from Windows 1909 to 2004. Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer software. Checked C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS. Nothing to delete. Ran Windows printer troubleshooter.

    Very odd.. Any suggestions welcomed.

Just out of curiosity, please perform the following [ this checks for ANY Problem Device Errors ] . . .

[1] Goto this TenForums link => Batch Scripts / Programs.
[2] Goto the heading Find ANY Problem Devices . . .
[3] Download and Run the .bat file [ Find_ANY_Problem_Devices.bat ].

If there are ANY errors it will create a Prob_Devices.txt file on the Desktop!

    I hope this helps!

Did you delete the drivers in the Device Manager?
    Tried a different port?
does the configure menu come up when you send to printer.
Is the printer set as the default?

just off the op of my head

Tried a few of the batch files without any indicators showing up. There was only MS Office installed so I did a reset keeping the user data and now it prints just fine. Person who I did it for is very pleased. He'd had someone look at it yesterday who couldn't sort the problem

Thanks for the help. I'm sure the batch files will be very useful in the future.

In that case, the standard test page should have printed without problems.
