[QUOTE=baskhara;638392]Just like Vlajko said, it separate headphones and speakers, so you have to set one of them as the default playback. Speakers is set by default. if you use headphones (through the headphones jack) you have to make the headphones playback as the default playback, dont worry the system will switch to speakers again if the headphone unplugged. But it wont work with USB headphones or speakers.

    Attachment 74989[/QUOTE

My pc sets automatically headphones as defaut when I connect them, but DDP still deasn't work, it works only with speakers

Have you enabled Dolby inside the headphones playback? and see if "Disable all sound effects" is not enabled.

That weird. Can you try to reinstall the Dolby only? The file is located in your Audio Drivers (mostly). Unistall the current Dolby software and reboot then reinstall the dolby

If all else fails, just buy an external USB sound card (this is more commonly known as "portable DAC"). That way you won't have Dolby sound stuff messing with your sound settings plus you get a cleaner / better sound quality.

I use one, and it plugs using USB. It sounds fantastic as well, and no dolby stuff in the drivers too:

I had the same problem, I also have Lenovo, my model is G505.

What solved the problem for me was, I opened this Attachment 35597

then I changed Attachment 35598 from ''CLASSIC'' to ''MULTI-STREAM''

and then your sound should be ok,

and then you can adjust your bass in DDP Attachment 35599 and be happy again!

    Please respond if this helps.

Finally an hour of searching later I have bass! Thank you!

Make sure you don't have Enhancements turned off. If it's off Dolby still won't work even when turned on.
