Why doesn't putting 2 NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 double the speed?

    Hey,

I wasn't able to find the answer for this anywhere. What are the reason that putting 2 M.2 SSDs into RAID 0 double the speed? Is there someone that can explain why? Also, why wouldn't turning on Rapid Storage Technology at this point make a difference?

Thanks for anyone actually knows the answers. I have my own guesses but I don't know anything for certain.

Not sure if I understood what you meant. Are you saying that it none of the Intel features really works and was just a marketing scheme so it seems Intel is better than it really is so they could compete against AMD?

Well, your sig, shows you have an Intel system and apparently, Intel wants to restrict RAID'ing on NVME!
