"Add Bluetooth or other device" not triggering dialogue box

Only recently my dialogue box isn't popping up to allow me to select with BT device I'd like to connect to on my machine. I've looked around and apparently there was a optional KB to install KB4577063 but no further posts to confirm is the actual fix.

Clicking the + icon does nothing, unless I click very quickly which then causes the diaglogue box to appear for a second then disappear.

Anyone else faced with this issue?

    @s0mojo,
Hello. Device Manager - Bluetooth - try disable/enable. If that doesn't work, try deleting it, then restart the computer. Also confirm from PC site that Bluetooth driver is up to date.

Hi matey, done as requested, still no change, however noticed within Event Viewer System logs:

    Code:
The local adapter does not support an important Low Energy controller state to support peripheral mode. The minimum required supported state mask is 0x2491f7fffff; got 0x1fffffff. Low Energy peripheral role functionality will not be available.
So looking into any older drivers that may resolve the issue

If older driver doesn't resolve it...

You could also try Uninstalling the device and check the box to delete the driver this time, then reboot and Windows will install a driver.

Was the Event Viewer message a warning or just information type?

Sorry, delete device should have been Uninstall device - don't worry, as it will get reinstalled after you reboot.

Also done a uninstall and reinstall, no change, the message was a warning. Also the older driver was a bust, the quest continues!

    Scan ran and fixed error

    As for troubleshooter:
    Problems found:
Check BT radio status = Fixed

    OS is now on: 20H2
Tried a different BT device, TP Link UB400
No change, the dialogue box still refuses to pop up
