Unable to create C Drive partition via Diskpart

I just had a nasty virus attack which wiped out my C Drive.

Hence I am wanting to keep my other partitions and just create my C Drive and repair install my Windows.

But Diskpart for some reason is not allowing me to create the C Drive.

Can someone please tell me where I am going wrong ?

Can someone tell me what the offset will be for a partition of 198 GB ?

What happens if you spell partition correctly?

    Had you considered:

    a) reset save files
    b) custom install
    c) Windows refresh
    d) Clean install

Note that a clean install requires you delete all existing partitions which comprised your Windows O/S - typically 4 if UEFI, fewer if MBR.

You can keep all data partitions. See
    Clean Install Windows 10
    around step 14.

    - The PC at that point has been booted from a Win 10 bootable install disk which you can freely create (using a working PC).

Recovering from a bad scenario like this is exactly why so very often the routine and regular use of disk imaging (to external storage so it can be removed and not affected by a virus) is recommended. E.g. Macrium Reflect (free). (The paid version includes a feature offering better protection).

If you had been doing that, you could have got your PC working exactly as it was, hopefully without help.

    Nothing I guess.

I have already deleted my original C Drive partition. So reset is out of the question. I am doing a clean install but I am not going to erase other partitions.

So before doing anything like that I need to create a partition for my C Drive.

Which I am not able to do now

Yeah I guess I will be doing that from later on.

Can you please tell me why I am unable to create a partition for my C Drive??

Did you actually retype the command lines with the correct spelling of Partition? . . .
    Code:
    create partition primary size=199680 offset=1331200
    create partition primary size=199680 offset=1332224
    I hope this helps!

    Sorry for being a dummy.

Corrected the spelling of partition and then diskpart worked correctly.

Sorry for being a dummy. I was able to create the partition.

But now I am facing this error:

Unable to create C Drive partition via Diskpart-20201014_020313.jpg

Can you help me with what is going wrong here ?

I have created the partitions but I have not formatted them to FAT32 or NTFS. Will what cause a problem ? I thought that will be done from the installer itself.

I could get diskpart to work correctly but I am unable to get the installation started due to this error:

I have no idea where I am going wrong.

Why not delete system and reserved and allow windows to recreate them or perform a clean install by making an unallocated drive?
