i need a free way to convert mbr-gpt on my mothers system.help!

    hey.
my mother has a windows 10 pro,and i need to convert all drives to gpt.for some reason i set it all up with mbr(im such an idiot!).
i already tried the mbr2gpt thing in cmd.it didnt work.tried some other obvious things too, didnt work.i need something very simple.im not very smart and iv got memory like a rabbit,or insect or something-not very good.i need a solution an infant could pull off.

    thanks in advance.

Why didn't it work. Any error messages?

3rd party partition managers should be able to do it. I would probably use diskgenius ( free version will work ), but you need to know what you are doing

You might have converted the disk to gpt partition style, but you also need to create an esp partition and create the boot critical files

Just some things to consider, what size are the drives? I've not found much difference in performance between GPT/UEFI and MBR, same computer with clean reinstalls [Insider Preview experimenting]. And as far as I've experienced the choice applies to the boot/OS drive. Larger than 2TB drives invokes a different thing, have to use GPT but that also requires the support in the BIOS which apparently the computer does have.
