Slow Laptop even after putting SSD

Slow Laptop even after putting SSD-config.jpg

The above images shows my configurations. I replaced my HDD with a 445 GB SSD. It was working smoothly at first, but now even with the SSD, my laptop keeps hanging unless I connect my charger to the laptop. For some reason my laptop works better with the charger. I have used an antivirus to check for viruses and my laptop is still slow. Is it a battery issue? Any help would be appreciated.

Andy95, your issue sounds similar to something that I run into on one of my older HP laptops.

One question that I have first: When you say that the system is hanging, is it completely hung up with no response at all or is it simply running extremely slowly?

In my case, the laptop is not hung, it just runs crazy slowly.

I figured out that the issue had to do with Power settings.

    Try this:

Click on Start > Settings > System Power & sleep > Additional power settings

For your current power plan, select "Change plan settings", and then "Change advanced power settings".

Under Processor power management > System cooling policy, check to see what your cooling policy is for "On battery".

On one of my laptops, if this setting is set to Passive, the system will run unbelievably slowly.

NOTE: Passive means that the system will avoid turning on the fan and will prioritize slowing down the processor. Try setting that to Active and see if the performance on battery is bettery.
