The ShareFile link to step 6 results is in post 9. It's a ~75 MB zipped file.

Added - Corsair CX750M 750 watts 80 Bronze. Could the random reboots be power related? I've thought about replacing the PSU but I'd rather not just waste money by throwing parts at it, that it may not need.

The machine rebooted again this morning while my son was playing Minecraft. It seems like it reboots more often on his user profile, but it does reboot on my user profile sometimes as well.

Often when troubleshooting hardware the best tests are swaps.

    Ideally two tests are performed:

    a) A new hardware component is tested in the problematic computer

    b) Hardware from the problematic computer is tested in another computer

See if you can find a friend, neighbor, relative, or local computer store for swap testing.

Looking through my event logs, there are no entries under any category right at the time when the system reboots. It only lists warning messages afterwards about how the shutdown was unexpected, etc.

That would seem to indicate a problem with something external from the actual CPU (like the PSU) that's causing these reboots, right? I may just go ahead and replace the PSU because I'm pretty sure it's several years old now. I think I may have paid cash for it at Best Buy so I don't have a record of when it was actually purchased.

The PSU is a good start.
There is no best method for testing except for swap testing.

Run the various OCCT tests: each for 1 - 2 hours

Just wanted to update, after months of the machine randomly rebooting almost every day, sometimes twice in a day, I replaced the PSU this past Monday. Have not had any unscheduled reboots since then. I updated my second system spec with the new PSU. Went from a Corsair 750W to a Thermaltake 700W. My machine isn't all that power hungry so I'm sure the 700-watt PSU will be plenty.

If anything else happens I'll report back here again.
