Well, changing those settings really didn't help much. Its like an intermittent double click when I only click it once. I'd hate to mess it up trying to take it apart if it wasn't meant to disassemble.

Contact Logitech and put in a warranty claim. They will likely send you a new mouse.
I have a Logitech MX mouse and after some years, left key began to bounce, giving multiple entry s.
I opened the mouse case and opened the switch case (very dedicated operation to avoid breaking it)
Used a small piece of a 600 sand paper on the contacts and cleaned with a contact spray cleaner.
Assembled back and it's working since.
