My Windows folder is 56GB, my Programs, Programs x86 and Program Data folder are a combined 200GB. There's another folder of about 20GB I use as a server for testing websites and the entire Users folder is 510GB. SO I have around 300GB of something somewhere that I dont seem to be able to find.

In any case, the 1TB NVMe and a 2-4TB mechanical drive for my User folder/data, iTunes and the rest sounds like the best option to me. Will save me around $300 on storage upfront that I can swap out later as funding allows or needs dictate.

    Thanks for all the help.

Even though you may have decided what to do, I would recommend running Treesize Free or (in my view better) Wiztree to see just how big various folders are.

I'll take a look at those. I'd never heard of them before. Thanks.

    Yep on Treesize or Wiztree.

Be sure to run Disk Clean including the system drive and Storage Sense before you draw any conclusions about how much space C occupies or what size drive to buy.

And you need to come to a semi-firm conclusion about the likely growth rate of C in the future---roughly how many GB per year, assuming you keep it trimmed down regularly with the proper tools already mentioned.

You may not need any System Restore points; that can save space. Ditto the hibernation file.
