Need help getting back "Safe to Remove Hardware"

Two days ago I have lost getting the message that it is "Safe to remove hardware" and really would like to get it back. Now when I eject the hardware, the icon disappears but I don't get the message. There is a reason why I would feel better if the message appears.
My attempts to Google the problem have not worked for me so I am coming to you experts for help.
    Many thanks for reading this.

I have a feeling you need to check your notifications, specifically for storage. Also make sure in Device Manager the policy for the device is set to performance (so it requires the use of safe removal).

Turn On or Off Notifications from Apps and Senders in Windows 10

    Thanks for the reply.
I can never figure out why my Windows 10 doesn't look like the ones I find other places.
This is what I have but everything is on.
    Any other suggestions?

And also in case the above threads don't apply, check if you have focus assist suppressing the notifications.

Thanks focus assist was off and I turned it on.
    Made no difference.
    Should it be off?

Like I've said yours don't look like mine.
    I see no similarity here.
No Edge, Voice recorder or Windows Security.
Think it's time to give up?
    Thanks for trying.
