Windows 10 doesn't treat my wireless mouse as a mouse

I have Version 1909 18363.959 Win 10. I just connected a SANWA-WH123 and WIndows just lists it as 2.4 G RX (the wireless USB). It seems a little sluggish. Maybe I should connect it to a higher rate USB but the USB 2 and 2.1( not familiar with that terminology) are hard to access but I would like Windows to recognize it as a mouse for starters- it works as a mouse.

First, USB 2 is fine. It won't work any better on a faster USB port. A mouse is a "slow" device.

Also, for a wireless mouse with its own wireless adapter, what you are seeing is normal. That's the actual wireless adapter. You did say that the mouse is working correctly, right?

Have you gone to Mouse Settings and adjusted the tracking and click speeds?
