How to relive hardware from st-by (driver bug)?
Hi, I moved to Win10 (1909) and I have trouble with WiFi 4965AGN card, I tried all 64 bit driver ever, the problem haven't solved and is known there are issues with Win10, by the way I switched to the latest Win10 driver available. The support for this card is missing and I can't change the card as the BIOS whitelists all hardware existing and stop with another WiFi adapter, unfortunately.
The card is working fine, since the PC goes in st-by mode, after wake up the card seems to work but it can't connect to any wifi, it simply doesn't transmit. I've disabled the power management on the card but it doesn't help.
The only way to "relive it" is to open the setting panel of the device, change any parameter and press ok, the driver "initialize" itself and the card working again, no need to reboot. Chances are, in this way I really "wake up" the card from the previous st-by.
It's obviously a driver problem, but I have no chance to hope for a fix, so there is any way, any command line, powershell, etc, that can simulate a driver initialization? I can simply put a link on the desktop and click on it when it stop working. Thank you a lot
