There may be a few options to try.

    If not using xbox:

See if running this administrative Powershell command makes any difference:

    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage

    or use SAFE MODE

I used safe mode (hold down RIGHT shift while using start menu to reset the PC)

this way the driver is not being used

then you can uninstall easier - i will automatically reinstall but after this it wont green screen again for some reason ??

    not sure why

but it this will allow you to start trying different drivers

Hi, I see the drivers you uploaded are for 32 bit version of Windows 10, have you got the drivers for 64 bit version too ?

Could you please upload also them ?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

this is so infuriating. I was able to pick from the folder and update the drivers in safe mode, it said successfully installed, didn't seem to really do much it was just a click then instantly said success

still green screens. I literally only want to play 2 games, call of duty and forza horizon 4

Just to let you guys know...

I had the same problem with the Xinputhid.sys...

what i did to "solve/bypass" the problem was:

    Boot in safe mode

Remove the Xinput (Xbox Controller) Driver in the DEVICE MANAGER

    Go to "C:\Windows\System32\drivers"

Delete or rename to .bak the file "Xinputhid.sys".

Get to the same place on your "Windows.OLD" folder - "C:\Windows.old\WINDOWS\System32\drivers"

Copy the "Xinputhid.sys" from there to the actual Windows folder.

Restart using the SHIFT key to enter in advanced boot options.

When at boot options, select option 7 (to DISABLE enforced DRIVER SIGNATURE).

When the system boots, plug or connect your controller and it will install and work.

    Did this and still good.

To those willing to get crazy, u can disable the ENFORCED DRIVER SIGNATURE "permanently", until the fix arrives.

    Good Luck
