Actually, I should not have said initialise because it has already been initialised.

If you right-click on the unallocated space, you should be presented with an option to create a new simple volume.
    - You could also consider Delete volume on the 2MB partition first so you are then acting on the whole thing.
    - If you are not given these options [create, delete], the disk is defective.

After that, right click on the disk & format it.

Delete everything on the USB drive and format as Fat32
    Code:
    diskpart
    list disk
select disk # <- replace # with the disk number of the usb flash drive
clean <- this will erase the flash drive
    convert mbr
    create part pri
    format fs=fat32 quick
    assign
    exit
    exit

Here is what diskpart says. I tried making a new partition. Now, File Explorer will show the drive but I can't do anything with it. Like, at all. It seems that the 2MB Healthy partition was also removed.

Did you do the Diskpart CMDs I've listed on post #12?

Actually, I had attempted that before you posted it. I'm very sorry for wasting your time. I did everything up until "clean" and including "clean". I'm going to do it now, from the top.

...and it worked! Thank you so much for your help! I will keep this post in mind, I will copy it somewhere.

P.S.: It wasn't the tool, I had used the USB just fine even after I ran the tool.
